Hmm... I'm driving down to Glenelg on Saturday, but have nothing to do on Sunday.
Do you mind a young (but very responsible ) bloke in a rough as guts Gemini tagging along with you guys? Would be nice to meet anyone interested in going to my Charity cruise in a couple of weeks.
I have done the Uni joints on the Tailshaft of the Tealey car and it is driving smooth as.
Hope to do gearbox and diff oil levels on sat along with a quick wash and clean up.
Maybe a quick look at tune and timing etc if time permits
Weather is looking a bit dark for tomorrow but 'clearing showers' is not all bad so fingers crossed (and bits for mrfibbles) that it's a good day.
Don't worry Ethan, come along and have a great day cruising with all of the Gemini's fore bearer's and no doubt we'll chew your ear off about the virtues of Bellett's over Geminis
Hey Dave! Why so down on the Gem?
Remember 11am start so try to get there a little earlier to be on the safe side!
Never down on the Gemini, unless I'm on a pre-Gemini Isuzu cruise! I guess I've rocked up to the odd Gemini cruise in a Bellett... I guess the Bellett is so rare that it's great to see them in an unbroken, Gemini-less line. Then again, last year we had a 117 and my Florian, so whatever floats the boat, I guess.
Nah Ethan no worries about bringing the car; all good.
I set the time at 11:00am because needless to say we won't leave until about 11:30 or a bit after, so don't sweat it!
Cheers,
Dave

I got stuck in gridlock behind a few of you near Castle Plaza today...could see that nice late model blue sedan a few cars ahead, but couldn't quite catch up before a bunch of cars disappeared into a BP on South Road. In fact, Dave almost took my doors off as he blasted the rat through the side streets! The cars looked great, hope it was a good day.
Yeah, it was like Dave did this tardis thing !! Last thing i remember was leaving Shannons with a polite "after you" from Dave who left at the rear of the squadron. Then, we could have jogged the next three miles faster, trapped in by a couple of big semiis. The next intersection revealed all. A lovely SLR had come to grief with something else as the cop was sweeping up the debris. Next stop the BP up the road...and....HOW THE F@#% DID you guys get here FIRST ?!? puzzle?!?
Well, the rest of the day speaks for itself. Much "Fangorama" through the hills. Could have been awsome for someone standing on the road side listening and watching the rat pack fly past. And a special session in the train for lunch; PR91 as honourary guest.... on the phone !!
Great to catch up with all, even though Mr. Flibbbbbles was missed. Next time mate.
Sorry, no pics. Too busy revelling in Bellettnessss. But my guest passenger had the camera at hand.
Hey terrific photos Rob - always great to see the cars on the move together. Good day - even Mrs Paul had a good time, particularly given it was her first serious cruise in the GT, AND there were no other chicks in sight. You guys are hereby warned though - that's the second year in a row that the rest of you haven't decorated your rides suitably for a Xmas Cruise... Santa's taking notes.
Don't know about anyone else but I'm a bit scared by the last image... Well done B on taking pain for the cause.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all... Good Bellettin'.
Nope, doesn't say anything about etching permanent symbols into your skin on the prohibition list, so I guess it's ok (on this forum anyway). Your turn now Paul !! Anyway, The idea was concieved long ago (by someone else originally), and was given a lot of thought as to it's perminancy. The whole thing was very premeditated, and don't regret it one bit !! Just looks a little raw 'cause of Robs super detailed camera work and only being done a few days earlier.
Only thing is I'm scarred for life. But hey, that happened a couple of years ago when I started connecting with you Bellettiers out there, hahahahahh.
Pleased to meet the lovely lady, Paul. She was very tolerant of us guys.
Fantastic! Great pics from great people. I reckon the cars had as good a time as you!
Niiiiiice inkwork, mate!! Now I can show Tracy I'm NOT a fanatic, or even one tracked! No, I think you've bumped me down th "mildly intrested"!!
Fan Tastic!
Cheers mates,
Matt.
