Let along that he knew what a Bellett was :o

Every time I take my car out some body comes up to me and asks "Do you know that guy with the tyre shop who has a heap of these?"

iT'S NOW 2015 & MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID - THE CRYING HAS STOPPED .
AS SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE HEARD , MY RALLY CAR IS DEAD . IT DIED IN THE FOLLOWING YEARS BAGSHOT RALLYSPRINT . ANYTHING IS REPAIRABLE , BUT SOMETIMES NOT WORTH IT .
AS YOU CAN SEE , THE RHS INNER DRIVING LIGHT PUSHED THE RAD SUPPORT WHICH PUSHED THE RAIL
INTO THE FIREWALL WHICH BROKE THE DASH ETC,ETC,ETC. THE DRIVER APOLOGISED ALL THE WAY INTO THE TREE ( WHICH DIDN'T MOVE !)

GEEZ. :o Are YOU OK :?:
I know what your talking about re. the pushing of rail. Just finished last weekend replacing the left hand rail
in the convertible. Completely rotted out from where your feet are on the firewall back past the gearbox mount
200mm. Had a fella who owns are sheetmetal shop make me a jigsaw puzzle. 5 pieces.
I reckon its's fixable. But you've made the corporate decision. We know of a bloke waiting to hear from his
insurance company and may be able to use the rear end.
Dave.
CQGT.
I'm the Dave with the convertible.

The crash occurred in 2011 - I rang my Shannons man from bendigo only to be told i'm only getting $25.00
for it - damn motorsport clause ! The first rally crash ( in 1994 ) I had had the same result - reshell . I kept the rear half as spares for years - Brett now has it . Have you seen his BBQ ?

As Craig said, this was years ago.
We all knew about it then.....
I've seen the car many times since. The pics don't show how extensive the damage is. The impact went thru the whole car, so there's no way you'd repair it. Even the dash is bent.....
A new shell is what's needed, and he already has that, so it'll be reborn.... Once the "GT-R" Gemini is done. That one will really turn some heads.
