Valiant Weir

Post by lemansvk »

This photo shows the uniquely Australian weir construction technique known as the "Valiant & Willow Weir". You place the car in the desired stream position, punch a hole in the rusty boot floor, then plant a willow to grow through it....

nope. serious.
many years ago when they were worth FA, some sedans were pushed into a gully on a bellett owners property and made into a bridge to get to the another paddock.
is still there as far as i know, but it's been the best part of 20 years since ive seen it too.

I wonder how Isuzu steel holds up under water? Bout as well as Chrysler steel I'd imagine, not very well at all.
