"Teardrop" 1966
Have been asked to put up for a couple of pics of the '66 "Teardrop" that I have just aquired - was on Bellett Net 2 or 3 weeks ago situated in Bathurst. I am very happy with it as it is clean straight and super original one owner car .I love it !

Re: "Teardrop" 1966
Nice Kerry, Real nice!
Hey mate, Between you, me & Dave, we've got the early '66 set - Bucket seat/floor shift man., Bench seat/Column shift, & DeLuxe auto. And all the same colour!!
Cool I reckon, since this is probably the least common sedan after '64s.
Good work!
(And glad you're not shy of a big drive, just on spec.)

I'm green with envy and yet I'm smiling from ear to ear for you
Your lucky I'm unemployed and moving house atm. It just may have ended up in QLD otherwise
I have a real soft spot for teardrops and that ones worth more than a handfull of clams in my opinion.
Congratulations on a beautiful buy Kerry, you've well and truely got a keeper there. I hope to see it close up one day.

Re: "Teardrop" 1966
Yeah Gerry, spose it's all relative - "Close" - somewhere about 900 k's each way Kerry?
Closer than you though!
And here's me only 200 k's away & I didn't go check it out. Something to do with an empty wallet!
Cheers, Matt.

Re: "Teardrop" 1966
Kerry,
Good luck to you, I knew of that car in Bathurst and was hoping it would have been within My price range, but alas it wasn't.
For last few years it has only been driven to the shops and home again, not far at all.
Enjoy, I wish it had been in the ball park price wise for me, good to see it has gone to an enthusiast, not just to be driven into the ground!!
WELL DONE.

Re: "Teardrop" 1966
Kerry, Great car, all original, may I ask as this model year was the transformation from " early to late" 3 or 5 bearing motor, high or low starter motor, is a synchro gearbox, curious as in the years gone past I have seen many changes.
