Anyway I am looking forward to pulling down the GT and starting the rebuild. It,s not going to be at the pace of Rollie, it's going to be a 2 to 3 year job but look forward to sharing the photos with you all. Will put some photos up in the next week

67 GT
Time to fess up that I,m the proud owner of the GT from the farm of Simmys dad, Darryl. It,s been a long time coming and I had all but given up on getting a GT with the prices they are getting. Thanks firstly to Darryl for his generosity on the day, not only for keeping everything in my budget, but he went to a lot of effort to find every part he could for the GT, helped get the GT on the trailer with the tractor and stopped to have a chat during coffee breaks. Also thanks to Oz Toffa who pretty well organized everything from start to finish. In all a very special day getting my own GT but also the complete package experience, a day at the farm I will never forget.
Anyway I am looking forward to pulling down the GT and starting the rebuild. It,s not going to be at the pace of Rollie, it's going to be a 2 to 3 year job but look forward to sharing the photos with you all. Will put some photos up in the next week

Must be Greg, you keep going back!
And good work 'Claws', I love to see 'em come out of the paddock and get the care they deserve. Good name - and for the same reason 'Doris' has hers.
Please show us more.
Cheers, Matt.

Re: 67 GT
you have a few days work unpicking them sills
other than that the lower rear quarters look reasonably clean
hopefully not to many nasty bits to unvail
Best of luck remember it will all be worth it one day,

Re: 67 GT
yeah it sure is a compact..
compacted by a drunk driver who was stopped pretty hard by the rear end of prestine Blue 671/2 Auto Sedan.
he drove off but the car was a write off. i got it for parts as i had only done 80K miles.
the rear(what was left) has been cut so she finishes at the back doors. uses a milk bottle as a fuel tank...
would make a great dune buggy

Re: 67 GT
We are all looking forward to the finished product.
We had a great time on the trip and as claws said your dad was so generous and so helpful.
It's always great to make a new friend in the Bellett community and chat around a cuppa.
So my personal thanks to Darryl as well!
