CD is right, Rolie has been built for the Goodwood Revival, the Festival is a very different kettle of fish.
Both events are organised by Lord March and his Goodwood company, but that's pretty much where the similarities end.
The Festival is open to all eras and types of competition cars, but the actual competition element is pretty minimal, it's more of a 'moving motor show'......quite a few cars make runs up the single track hill, but only a few are in a timed competition. I was lucky to watch Nick Heidfeld set the unofficial fastest ever ascent in an F1 car a few years ago....scarey.
The Revival, however, is a proper race meeting set over 3 days, but ran on the circuit itself (a mile or so from the Festival hill). It is only open to cars that did or could have competed there when it was a commercial circuit (1947 to 1966, I think) Hence Rolie and my interest in Mr B McLaren. This is the link to the Festival and Revival website, if anyone's interested.
