Please be specific as to what part you're after - unless you're after a whole car for parts!

I do have some new old stock aluminium finned brake drums with steel inserts for the Bellett. Is that what you are looking for?

I think there might be a break in communication. I'll offer a little help. If I am off base, please disregard.

I got an English email from Shinji about the same time as your post.

It sounds like he understood what I wrote.

Paraphrasing:
There aren't any alfin brake drums in Japan to be had and a lot of people looking for them, and many other parts for Belletts that are no longer available in Japan.
Shinji emailed Dick about buying the drums. It sounds like the price was a bit more than Shinji was planning on spending. So he continues to look for the drums.

I think this is a good example of what was mentioned in one of the window seal/weatherstrip threads. There are parts unavailable in Japan too. If the two main groups of owners are in Japan and Australia, and the they build commerce between them, the market doubles for everyone. That's for stockpiled used parts as well as newly made reproduction parts.

and there in lies the prob... international trade in the private sector. we'd luv to do these things and have tried but when u can't even buy parts off yahoo japan without a japanese contact acting as the middle man because of some stupid 'east vs west' thing then u tend to give up... maybe someone can have better luck tho!
