Also compliments of Isuzudas:

Includes just about every model: Bellett, 117 Coupe, Gemini PF, Early Piazza, Aska, Gemini JT0 (RB), Gemini JT1 Coupe and Sedan, Late Piazza, Lotus Elan, Trooper, Wizard, Vehicross, Elf, Art Trucks, Gala Bus.

This is an annual event held at the parking lot of the Shimonita Tourist Center. The area is known for konjac and shallots. Konjac is some sort of giant onion that has little taste, but desirable texture and can also be ground up and used to make some sort of jelly or tofu like brick of jiggly looking stuff. Shallot is the fancy name for green onions. The tourist center has a big restaurant attached to a konjac and shallot processing facility. This place is a popular day trip destination for people lucky enough to have a car to go out into the country on weekends. They have a big parking lot out in front that is friendly for gatherings of car clubs. Their website has a picture of the lot covered in original Minis and the caption boasting they can accommodate 80 cars and 20 buses.

The event and destination has become a tradition for the Isuzu owners north of Tokyo, and in the video you can see Isuzudas' little diorama on the dashboard of his car, showing the front of the tourist center and little model Isuzu cars posed in front.

Enjoyed! Thanks.

Is that small-tail light 117 coupe a '68 handbuilt?? *SWOON!*

The Vehicross are wierd-as, but I like 'em because they don't look like everything else on the road. (Though some Hyundais are getting close!)

Cheers, Matt.
