Chopper Final Assembly and Paint

Post by redback »

Woooooohooooooo FINALLY I have all my ducks in a row and am ready to paint it:

Right - last weekend spent 2 days pulling the chopper apart - all bagged and tagged.

Frame was dropped off at the powder coaters for 2 coats of gloss BLACK!!

Tins were soda blasted and dropped off to my Painter (AutoKare Darwin) for some House of Colour Organic Green over silver based coat!!!

SWEET - I will be doing final assembly over my christmas holidays in about 3 weeks.

I cannot wait - I keep waking up in the middle of the night dreaming of rebuilding it - probably 2 or 3 times a night.......

We'll be watching the build. Will no doubt be special!

Nice to know someone else gets those excitement wake-ups!

So, will the next project have "Bellett" in it? I know, one thing at a time!

Cheers, Matt.
