Re: Cam bearing sizes
If your talking about the cam bearings in the block the acl number is 3c6127 which are very hard to get now but repco or bursons may still have a set in stock the shaft size is just under 45mm and the tunnel size is 48mm hope this helps regards Peter.

Re: Cam bearing sizes
Thanks Peter, this is the info i got from a supplier here, but no numbers.
One of the books I have here has all the G180 motors taking the same cam bearings, but different to the G161.
Then I have another listing saying they are both the same.
So I think you'll need to get some measurements to make sure you're chasing the right set.
I'm thinking the cam diameter is 1.335" & OD of the bearing is 1.422" & .798" long.
Let me know & we'll go from there.
Cheers - Wayne
I found a listing here showing "CHG-14" for the layshaft and MIA-1 half shell and
MIA-2 half shell which is +20 thou. for the OHC.
This is from a catalog by DURA-BOND (usa)http://www.mellingdurabond.com/Portals/3/pdf/2009%20Catalog-Interior_r3.pdf
In my (Dave's) GT we couldn't find new cam bearings so refitted the cam. The bearings appeared OK anyway.
The CHG-14 I think is also used in the local Gemini engine ?
In my other thread, I found some flat top Luv pistons (+30), local rings (+30) and a full gasket set.
I hope there are no issues with the ring fit to the pistons.

Re: Cam bearing sizes
These bearings have not been made by acl for over 15 years and they won't be doing any more even know they are still listed alot of the older bearings in the acl catalogue are still listed but are no longer made you may have some luck at automotive surplus in mitcham give Bernie a call on 03 873 3566 regards Peter.
