Foglight S brackets

Post by parrot »

Hi Guys

I am on the hunt for a pair of GT foglight brackets. The S shaped ones.

No need for the actual foglights.

Cheers

I think one could bend them up from flat easy enough. Then get them chromed like original or simply paint or powder coat.

I have one if you want measurements.

True

If possible, perhaps just a photocopy of the side profile?

I can't vouch that its not a little bit bent but generally, here is the shape. If you want some dimensions let me know

I think there is normally only one hole in them. The one nearer the end i think should not be there. In that area, the bracket is bent inwards a little to pick up on the dumb iron to stop it rotating.

The light fitted to this one is a non original type.

you flatter me Dave, but making fog lights might be a problem !! ;) ;)

I don't have any gear to bend thick metal brackets like that apart from Oxy heating. Other way would be to make them in several pieces and weld together then dress the welds.
