What model does this badge suit?

Any questions on the body work from bumper to bumper.

Is there a subtle detail that makes that hood badge different from the other hood badges?

Looking down the brochure scans that has been posted, the badge moves from the grille to the hood around 1968 (Sedan and GT), with some exceptions that keep the badge in the grille.

That's a bonnet badge for the '68 (Novemberish) -'70 flat tail light black grill model sedan like mine :) http://www.bellett.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=41

Not sure but I think it was used from late '68 onwards until the end of the Bellett's life but I could be wrong there.

I think the GT's of the same era had a red background not the black you have there... If you're looking to sell I know some one who wants it ;)

Previously to the above badge they had the 'rotary' shaped badge which was plastic as well with the kanji (?) characters for Isuzu and prior to that it was a long flat badge with ISUZU on a blue background.

Can anyone post badge pics for the early models? Dave, you've got the whole set ;)

Cheers,
R.

Yep, certainly is for that mode, good buy. Most of these badges have lost the black of the back ground so a NOS part or a recon are in order.

They were also on the later 4 headlight/long taillight GTs - both of mine have them.
I'm certain the background was blue (one is too faded, the other is too buried).
