Another Tear Drop. Bathurst NSW.

Post by 1968GT »

Guys and Gals,

A fellow approached me at the Orange Car show stating he has a 1966 tear drop for sale. The car is at his home, just out of Bathurst.
Apparently the grille is missing, it has not been on the road for along time, however he is offering it for $250-00 approximately.
It must be an early 66, due to it having the tear drop tail lights.

It has a small amount of rust from what he has said, all glass is good, in saying that I do not know anything more about the car.
The gentleman's name is Don, mobile 0427 111 292, home number, 02 6337 2452.

If anyone is in the area maybe you might like to call the Guy and have a look :?: :?:

No promises relating to the condition overall.
Good luck as I will not be anywhere near it for quite a while, or I would post photos.

Hi Oz,
I had the same problem, I think he has some type of illness, he shakes a lot, I don't think it is Parkinson's, because of his speech I wonder if he may have suffered a stroke or similar.
All he told me was he lived a little out of Bathurst, he can understand you however, so I don't think it is language problem.
He owns a beautiful FJ ute, really nice.

To answer your question, no he did not give me any more info, sorry Bud.
DAVE.
