Re: Bellett Paint Code
You might have trouble. I had no luck finding a mix for the Sport. PPG for one, have long ago dropped all Bellett mixing codes although you might be lucky and find a paint shop with very old Micro Fiche that has them. You would need to get the paint colour matched to an area on the car that has not faded.BULLITT wrote:lewis I think I asked before but what about the 90 whats its colour code and name ...not that I am ready for that its 685573.00 mths away well maybe a year away ..just I have motor out .and once towers are repaired I will paint under the bonnet ...then then get the advice of the boys whats next ??? cheers davo

Re: Bellett Paint Code
These days they have a photoelectric gun that will spit out mixing ratios for any paint colour after you hold the gun up to the car, you need about a foot square of decent paint to do it though.

Re: Bellett Paint Code
some places have that but not my two nearest car paint shops so have to rely on the colour match. 1st batch i got was pretty close, the 2nd batch after running out of paint was way off...... different 'matcher'......Redzone wrote:These days they have a photoelectric gun that will spit out mixing ratios for any paint colour after you hold the gun up to the car, you need about a foot square of decent paint to do it though.

Thanks guys!
The inside of my boot is mint original, so will use to colour match if need be. There's a colour spectrometer at work too, sitting there looking innocent.
