Tassie Bellett Rescue
Hi all
following up on information passed on by our Queensland spies, James and I performed a rescue a few weeks ago. As you can see, a new grille, a few litres of cutting compound followed by a good wax - n- shine and it will look like new.
I've finally got around to posting the pics.

Re: Tassie Bellett Rescue
Awesome!
Thought of you today; colleague spoke to someone in Tassie with a Bellett and he mentioned me to the guy, however the client only knows of one other Bellett owner....in Darwin!
I assume he meals Redback Neil!! Anyway, my colleague has to ring him back about something, so I told him to inform the client of the forum.
Hopefully he pops up!
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Tassie Bellett Rescue
Good on you both for getting together on the rescue. Even if it just donates parts, its not going to waste and keeping others alive. OR you might just find the TIG master who wants to burn some wire!
Cheers, Matt.

Re: Tassie Bellett Rescue
Thats a pretty sad sight. I see the sills are non existant, but are you not keeping the guards?
Hope you got some worthwhile bits,
cheers, Matt.

Re: Tassie Bellett Rescue
Hi all
She looks OK in pictures but guards are full of advanced tin worm. The only salvageable panels were the bonnet and front valance but they will still require new metal to be welded in. Already got rear ends and front ends in the old chook shed so had to make a decision on storage space and family harmony (???)
It did yield a lot of mechanical and interior bits. Being sedan lovers, James and I are pretty pleased with the stuff we could get off it as spares for our cars and had to call it quits at some stage.
