1967 Bellett Sedans

Post by Jeff »

I know some of you will be asking why, this is something I don't want to do but with limited time with my new house and trying to finish my LS powered EJ sedan I have decided to sell both the Bellett's I have.

I am going to loose my parking space for it (my mother's shed) and Dad wants the spare sedan out of the yard which is the better body and no room at the new house for 4 cars I also have a matching numbers EH Auto wagon.

The other 67 sedan is mint with next to no rust it is about 80% complete and a non runner and was planning on the G200W transplant but not now.

The main Bellett is OZ's old car and is a runner still needs a bit of work but a good start. I have rebuilt the carbie and replaced the engine mounts and also done the rack mounts as well. there are a few other parts of the car that have been fixed and the heater will be rebuilt before it is sold. I don't have any current pictures of the other Bellett but will load some in the coming days.

If anyone is interested let me know via private message.

I will start the search for a running GT or a restored sedan as I have way too much on with the new house and can't do it all and Dad just wants something to drive now, so if someone is selling let me know.

I know I have been trying to build a radical GT (this isn't going to change) just not now and with the time involved I think it can be better spent on this.

I bought a sedan out of Tamworth and thought the interior was out of 2 different cars. Now i've seen the interior
of yours and now I know that it wasn't.

I unfortunately have no money or room, which is unfortunate because I have had some good fun driving the grey ghost you have there, I borrowed the car for a while from oz_toffa and would like to see it stay here in SA just not in any position to be making any offers at the moment....

That's not correct Rod. If I emailed for some further info on one of the cars and then the cars gets taken off the market its not because of lack of interest, but hopefully the owner will now restore them as he says he will. Adelaide does need more Belletts on the road.

I apologise for those who were interested in the Bellett's mainly Claws but I just can't give up yet that's is the easy way out, I am really keen on the mint shell that Claws was interested in as my next project as the other sedan is Dad's.

Thanks

As long as a mint body doesn't end up as a rusty shell and I see it one day driving around Adelaide I'm ok with that.

Yeahp, thats the main aim! More Belletts cruisin the Bay to Birdwood, with smiling owners!
Cheers, Matt.
