Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
Hey guys,
Check this moon unit out!
I found it on a random German Wiki page.
Looks pretty cool and has had plenty of time and love spent on it!
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
Hey there Dave, that certainly is different. I have never been a fan of the yankee style front stuck onto a Florian, (though I wouldn't knock one back!) but it looks a lot better suited there.
Kinda tuff.
Thanks for showing
Cheers, Matt.

Re: Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
lol, unsurprisingly I have that picture saved on my computer! I have a bunch of pictures stolen from the net showing the Faster with the late series florian front, personally I think it suits the ute style, and is a welcome change from the standard Chev Luv style front.
I am "that" Florian guy.

Re: Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
Yeah, they are fairly ugly!
The best front is the original trapezoidal headlight one, or at least the second version. Streamlined. And because trapeziums are cool. So when I get a Luv/Faster, I want the original Flo grille. Yes, when.
Cheers, Matt.

Re: Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
Farmer youll need the florian radiator support to fit the florian front!, the front chassis crossmember hits the florian front valance so that needs modding to fit, and the bumper brackets will be custom as well, but the gaurds from a florian bolt up and the bonnet will bolt up using florian hinges (will need to sort out bonnet prop rod or use a custom mounted florian one)
I still want to do the 69 florian front on my luv though (just missing the radiator support!)... but sorting out the running side first!
been talking to few guys in Thailand about getting the American style square light front and grille for mine though, just to keep the options open!

Re: Isuzu Faster in Thailand - with Florian front!
I totally love the abomination grille.
A few years back before I'd hit maximum capacity car-wise, I deeply considered an '81ish, Diesel Florian with 80,000k's and the Rolls Royce grille.
It had air and was brown!
But reality confirmed to me it was a dumb idea!

I might think that grill is butt ugly but if I ever had the opportunity to own one I would probably sacrifice my right testicle to get it (without hesitation or regret)mrflibbles wrote:I would never call that a dumb idea... its a dream of mine!I totally love the abomination grille.

I don't know about the whole import scenario, but if I turned the corner and saw the 'for sale' sign.........hmmmmm.
Cheers, Matt.
