Early hip chrome - full set - good condition

Post by 2ldohc »

I have a full set of chrome for the top of the quarter, down the doors and the rear quarter. It is the old style so pre 1968 I think. From memory they changed the door chrome style and mounting position mid production of the hex lighted model so check your car before contacting me!

It is a half moon (semi-circle) profile, not the triangle (pointy) chrome of the newer models.

This set is complete with only minor blemishes... A small scratch, a small dent (so small it doesn't show up on photo's and a slight pull in the rear quarter piece causing the 'point' to be slightly square. I only noticed because I was cleaning them.

I will post photo's when my camera has charged until then I can be PM'd with an offer... I really don't know what a complete set is worth so make me an offer and I'll consider it :)

If I don't get any interest in a fortnight or so I will list them on eBay and see what happens.

Cheers,
RS.

Here's the pics of the chrome.

PM me or post if you want more details or more pics. The small ding that I mentioned is on the front left chrome piece.

I also have a couple of loose pieces that I'm looking to get rid off as well so if you only need one I might be able to help out too :)

No probs Dave.

Thanks for passing on the details to the new owner, with any luck we'll see them on here in no time :)

I've still got the chrome here and I will probably add in the chrome for around the rear window if anyone is interested in that too.

Cheers,
Ross.
