Google maps goes indoors ???

Ok this struck me as very weird but maybe some of the tech heads on this forum have always known it but........ stick with me this might be a little long winded

This morning I was a little bored and started going through some old posts. I was reading one by Mr B (PR91) in the Bellett History in Australia thread and he listed the original dealers for Bellett's in Oz. In QLD it was Willy's motors at 339 Wickam St Fortitude Valley. He then asked in the thread what was there now? So I google mapped it...... it is now the site for one of the Brisbane BMW and Mini dealerships, anywho I soon got bored with that and started skipping all around Brisbane inner city streets like a lost gooogle maps tourist when all of a sudden I was INSIDE a building on Adelaide St.
It (google maps that is) walked me through a juice bar/coffee shop the Extract Espresso Cafe to be exact.
Old mate must have stopped for smoko and popped his go go gadget google maps camera hat on before going walkabout through the building

Ok my mind is officially blown........ but it seems I am also as dumb as two stones rubbed together as you can (and always could) actually walk though HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of buildings and shops on google maps
There are little orange and blue dots on the little locator map in the corner that show which ones you can walk through.

I just found a music store that sells vinyl records and a pen shop I need to visit

I think there are some interior pics that get uploaded by users; I don't think it's the dude himself...unless you can 'look' around?

It's not just an interior pic. You can do a full walk through the stores with full 360* views even look floor to ceiling from almost anywhere inside each one. would have to be walking through each one with a helmet camera of some sort (unless they're doing it Blues Brothers drive though style)

I know there is an underwater reef street view somewhere! Will try find it
