Best Resources for Building a G200w 2.0L Engine From a 117?

Post by ishigakisensei »

Got a PA96 G200w engine for just under $450 delivered to my door. My Japanese is not too great, so searching for Japanese sources is slow going. Are the books/websites and other resources in English about working on and tuning this engine? I want to stay NA and get 150hp out of it...more if possible safely. I know about balancing the crank, porting and the basic NA building processes that any shop can do, but I need to expand my knowledge.

Resources?

And, it does not get better. Its either people don't speak English or don't want to deal with a foreigner despite my wife being Japanese with the ability to speak and write fluently.

That's my fb page lol. What part of Japan are you in? My expat aussie brother lives in Yokohama and has helped me out organising acquisition of parts from Akihiro Kohigashi at Aquarius Sports previously. I can put you in contact with a lot of the japanese dohc Gemini guys via fb too. PM me your fb name if you like? Aquarius are one of the great isuzu tuning shops over there and can source parts.
