Florian headlight reflectors - very dull

Post by mrflibbles »

I know this is a common problem, but the headlight reflectors are very dull on my florian. I have a spare set that are nearly identical but was wondering if they can be refinished/re chromed as they are plastic?
Anyone know someone that may do this sort of restoration? or are there alternatives to restoring them?
thanks everyone.

There are certainly plastic chromers out there, just look at the Toyota grill badges amongst other car brands for starters. I have audited one of these providers so i know it is done.

However whether your reflectors can be done will need to be assessed by the provider.

Not sure how they might first strip off the old chrome but if they can do that re-chroming should be do-able.

Hi Fibbles
you can take them into Delway Brass on Conmurra St Edwardstown - Ask for Karl he will look after you

Or you could go to AA Class at Lonsdale and pay 3 times the price
