Technical question
Is this gt spring likely to nearly kill me if I unhook the end and how would I get it back on.
Re: Technical question
Hi Claws
I guess the answer to your first question is no
Is that the reclining seat spring ?
Springs are a pain in the arse but they will go back with patience
I cant tell you the answer to the second part of your question but I am sure someone on here can
Any more pictures of your wonderful rebuild?
Cheers Flying

Re: Technical question
Now theres something I've never tried. It does look pretty tight and would probably be pretty hard to get back in place.
I reckon I'd hold the whole thing securely in a vice or super jaws, then use long nose vice grips to check the tension. If its too strong, maybe take it to an engineering shop.
Sorry I'm not more help.
Cheers, Matt.
