totally off-topic but an interesting re-build

The Lancia Stratos is a pretty well known rally car..... check out the re-build of one with hires pictures, in the build converted from original engine to an Alfa V6.

Note just how little spare space there is in these cars, how tiny they are and check the rear rubber width..........

There is also some Youtube video of a a similar car, this one with a V6 Toyota with supercharger on top in some videos from.......

Thanks Glenn. Interesting to watch. Looks like every time they breathed in a photo was taken.
I did with my sedan but not as much on the other 2 cars.
The Escort wasn't very popular up here. My cousin had a van. He gave it a hard time.
Thanks again.

While off Bellett talk , here is my current Project - 1967 Prince/Nissan Skyline GTB ......currently working towards a "bare
metal " respray. Motor and gearbox have both been rebuilt , upholstery uninstalled but finished , brakes had total renew/rebuild, new radiator ready, heater/airbox dismantled and refurbished, dash instruments still to be removed and restored ,front end to be removed and rebuilt (parts on hand ) chrome currently being restored . I have completed 90% of the work, so by my reckoning and after having built/restored other cars ,I still have 90% of the work to do.....!
I have really enjoyed this project so far......it is a car I have desired for 55 years since I saw one in Nov. 1965 - whilst I was still at school.

Hi KB.
A lot different to when I saw it 12 months ago. Nearly to the day.
Your right about the 90% done and 90% still to go. I'm still working on the white GT.
All the suspension is back in and is a rolling shell. The dents in the roof have been a nightmare.
Has been too hot to work on in the mornings. After 1 o'clock to about 6.30 I'm slowly working my way.
