Hi Buck,

I split your cars off of KJB's post of his cars into your own post with your cars.

Per what I was saying in the Introductions section, I thought you must have had single-headlight sedans, but wow I was wrong!

The GTs you have are 1967-ish Bellett GT PR91's (previous model from 1965-1966 was PR90 and had driving lights set into the grille). The 1969 Bellett GTs are also known as PR91, however they have the 1969 sedan-style grille and twin headlights. As you may have seen on this site, some cars have the wrong fronts as that normally the first thing to get biffed! Although the user PR90's PR90 has the wrong tail lights! So it can be confusing.

For a good representation of what your car would have looked like in Ye Olden Dayes, check out the section with the brochures and the promo pics; between myself and Degruch, we've stacked up a few pics there! With more to come once I get a chance to do some more scanning...

Top looking cars! We would all be interested on the story of how you came about them!

For an explanation of what the hiragana symbols mean, check out your introductions thing you did the other day at:

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for showing us 2 very nice cars, Buck. Begs the question - do you know of others in your part of the world? I know that Isuzu trucks were sold in southern Africa in the '60s.
I like this interweb thingie.

Both great examples! Thanks for sharing pics of your pride and joys :)

Do you race the blue one much or is that a historic picture of that car on the track? I'd be interested to know how it goes against the other classics in South Africa!
