1970 Bellett GT at Samurai Auto, Japan

Post by dave »

Hi people,

Here's another tasty Bellett I found for sale in Japan. Actually, it wasn't for sale it was SOLD, but it was still on the Samurai Auto website. I have no idea how much it went for.

It's a pretty nice looking unit, approximately 1970 with the short bonnet and relocated wipers, plus the flow-thru ventilation vent in the rear quarter panels.

I just posted this because it looked pretty good. Quality of the photos not the best.... I really have to wonder how much it sold for. Nice to see it didn't get turned into a GTR replica!

Cheers,

Dave

Ouch! I didn't realise the car had a sordid history of lies and deception! I just put it up coz it was a pretty car!

Pity it didn't come over here to Australia! We could do with another nice GT!

Sorry to hear of the dramas; I remember you guys mentioned it a while back on the site, but I didn't know this was the car.

Cheers,

Dave

Crazy history, and sounds like it almost made it to Oz. Apart from the awful saga......Niiiice !!!

ps Imagine it...Bright banana yellow one with dark tinted windows....ouch !!

Different sort of engine we're used to seeing, tell us more.
