interchangable head
Can anybody comfirm if a head off a 5 bearing engine will fit a 3 bearing block?
Re: interchangable head
I do know that a three bearing head will fit a five bearing block if you drill out the bolt holes (from 10mm to 12mm). I can't see why the opposite can't be true if you re-tap the block (from 10mm to 12mm).
(Some-one on this forum owns the auto sedan that has a three bearing head on it. I helped to do it. It also has one of my rear windows with it to replace the broken one it had on it when they bought it.)

I just thought. You could also sleeve the bolt holes, but that would leave you with the skinny little 10mm three bearing head bolts.
